DriveSigII
DriveSigII is a program for generating drive signals used in mechanical fatigue
testing.
The program uses standard National InstrumentsTM
E-Series DAQ cards and a Windows-based PC to create an inexpensive high performance
system for drive file replay. Any servocontroller which accepts an external analog
command signal may be used with the system.
Up to 16 channels of drive and response data are supported, depending on the
hardware used. During replay, DriveSigII uses the analog input hardware to monitor
as many as 16 responses from the test system. A flexible limit checking function
is included which allows all the response signals to be monitored for change in
near realtime as the test progresses.
Drive data can come directly from MTS®
RPCTM Time History files or a generic Block Programmer
format which allows easy creation of arbitrary waveforms. Response data may also
be saved to RPC compatible Time History files for later analysis.
