These systems have been used in a wide variety of industrial installations, including portable and vehicle-mounted installations. Applications include the following:

TES has been involved in the design of several products for battery operation. One example is the natural gas industry. These systems are used for flow measurement, volume calculation and data logging. Several of these designs also include data communications, working with either MODBUS or proprietary protocols.
These units are generally installed outside where they are exposed to the weather, or in inside harsh environments. They must operate for extended periods from internal batteries.
